Abilities:

◎ The living force / Jedi-Master
As a jedi, and individual is blessed with a connection to the living force. With training, the relationship matures and it can become tangible enough to manipulate. Jedi's are taught to master various counterpoints of battle, psychology, physical strengths, and technique for proper knight hood but as a Master; the third highest ranking in the Jedi Order, Jinn's bond to the living force has surpassed many of his allies. This is noted by his the potential for being placed in the council if only his personality were a little different.

Through experience and training, Qui-Gon is able to fully bend the living force to his will either by inflicting mind trick's for a non-violent approach to acquiring what he needs, deflect violence, or gain information, or as something complicated as healing. He can only use his healing abilities so much, the task is so draining he seldom uses it if at all. He's fine-tune to the living force also makes him a very mindful individual. Through meditation, it is possible for him to foresee the future. Although the ability is not at the level of Master Yoda, he is quite the powerful jedi. It is also noted that because of his very high-tuned nature to the living force, it is also very easy for him to learn and adapt to his environment by the mere readings of the force around him.

A jedi's weapon is is the lightsaber which is built by the user itself. Qui-Gon's is green. His skills with a saber are canonly compared to those of the Master of the Order, Mace Windu. He has his own style and enough experience on both sides of the spectrum.

Strengths:

Qui-Gon's indulgence with the force has made him very wise and gifted. His intuition is almost acute with the aid of the living force. His training has made him very versatile in regards to strategy and planning. He's very mindful and thinks about the enemies moves and their effects before making any sound judgment.

Weaknesses:

Being too in-turned to the force has it's consequences. Like a faucet out of control, it is very easy to overwhelm Qui-Gon's senses if the living force is altered may it be through powerful emotions (rage, anger, fear) of people around him. That doesn't prevent him or hold him back from walking through crowds, he has very good control over this but when the masses of people around him feel any of these emotions in strong unison, it can over flood him. It takes longer to control than if everyone was neutral.

His old age can also impede his performance when it comes to physical feats. He's not as agile as he was and his strength takes quite a beating as far as stamina is concerned. He can perform well but begin lacking as time continues onward. This is why most of his talents are his wisdom and his control of the force.

Personality:

Revered by his wisdom and abilities, Qui-Gon Jinn was always seen as a very reliable Jedi knight. Although his thoughts in comparison to the order are at times unorthodox, there is no doubt in regards to his capability to get things done. Caring, compassionate, and ever eager to help others when possible, Jinn has a very strong respect to life in all its shapes and forms. His empathy holds no bounds and if there is time to spare from his missions he does not hesitate to take a moment to help. He is open-minded, even more-so than other Jedi members, and has had enough experience dealing with many types of cultures and people that it has made him all the wiser. He regards everything mindfully and without judgment.

At first impressions, Jinn can come off as being very serious and professional individual. With a physical calm towards the world and a very wise look about him, it's almost hard to imagine the man having any bouts of passionate emotions. Underneath, he is just as intricate as any other man. His outlook towards Jedi Knights and the rest of the world is very different, often times putting him at odds with the Council he serves. Holding true to the understanding that all creatures, regardless of their tuning for the force, were all similar. They all held the same faults and therefore capable of the same temptations. Just as he has prevailed over strong emotions and corruption, he has also been a victim of the anger and despair the fuels the dark side. The outcome of his depression and close fall left the man more cautious and mindful with a different perspective of life, one that involved perceiving the world with potential gray area where normally there was only black and white. There are definitely still traces of his previous difficulty but he keeps it all well hidden under a reserved attitude at most occasions. He's prone to his bouts of 'stubbornness' as the Council would probably call it where his own passionate feelings for something transcend into a physical display (may it be a change in tone, stance, or even verbal marks without fear for penalty).

In regards to his relationship with people and others, Jinn prefers to take a step back and watch while keeping a mindful view of different thoughts and attitudes. He is not one to agitate or correct, he respects things as they come and won't bother changing anything unless it needs drastic change or repair something fixable (manners, teaching others knowledge, etc.) only if it benefits the subject in question. He is very amiable with a good sense of humor, and the mannerisms any Jedi Knight would be proud to have.

Strengths:

Qui-Gon has not only become a well known Jedi Knight but even amongst the people he helps during his missions. His good nature and presence has made him very amiable and able to blend into environments. He has a lot of experience watching an observing individuals so it has made him very quick interpreter of emotions and a very accurate reader of people's behavior. This all coincides with his good intuition.

Weaknesses:

Despite the fact Qui-Gon has clearly moved forward after his disappointments and defeats (in regards to apprentice's and even his own personal struggles), Qui-Gon is still haunted by these memories. Although it doesn't warrant an immediate threat, he certainly hides the fact he still feels guilt and fear. His sympathy to all creatures can also be a hindrance making him change his course, putting himself and sometimes others in danger.

Will you be okay, kupo! [The Jedi Knight paused in his walk and turned to the creature giving it a thoughtful look and responding after a short insignificant silence.]

Darkness has engulfed my world and many others, that's something I had never heard mentioned before. Even then, there is no need for haste: answers come at their own time. These mysteries will unravel themselves with time and patience. Thank you for your assistance, I leave you in peace.

[And he watched the strange creature float away with that same look before turning to the recording feed. There was never a time better than now to start his work and finding.]

It had all happened so fast. One minute his blood was surging with the adrenaline of battle and the next he was catching himself from stumbling on paved stone. The engine rooms of Naboo were gone and replaced with a town. By the look of the architecture and the fluorescent lights, this was of another planet. Truth be told, he didn't quite recognize it at all himself.

Aside from the strange surroundings, it was very apparent his pupil was not here. Even as he spread and stretched his senses as far as he could he could not sense him near. This was quite the predicament. As a master it was his duty to protect and train his pupil but how could he when he was not here? He frowned, setting himself forward and moving onward.

First things first, if Obi-Wan was nowhere to be found then it was up to him to find why and their current situation. He had all faith in the boy aiding himself. He would have to trust and move onward. Live in the now.
